It's crossed my mind. But maybe I'll convert to a lid once it's running.Originally posted by JoeliusZ28 View PostLooks good but it would be better if you didnt have an elbow at all

Yea I understand not doing a lid, its a pita. But there are other easier setups that should outflow an elbow you can do as well. I know ive said it a million times, but i think the lid and improved manifolds are where the ls1 made most of its power advantage... Not the heads.Originally posted by mcalus View PostIt's crossed my mind. But maybe I'll convert to a lid once it's running.-Joel

Do you have an ALDL cable? I have one - next time we're both out on Woodward I'd love to data log your car running to see what kind of AFGS you get with your intake. I know that's not going to be an exact method, but it'd be interesting to see none the less.Originally posted by JoeliusZ28 View PostLooks good but it would be better if you didnt have an elbow at all

Edit: couple guys on tech think my no start is a vats issue. Since I had my mail order remove it I'll install my chip then go from there. If that doesn't work I'll pull the starter and get it tested.Last edited by mcalus; May 4th, 2012, 08:59 PM.2002 Z28 Camaro A4

Picked up 2 used tires from Ricky (boost addict) big thank you! I don't mean this in a rude way but has anyone ever told you that you look like McLovin?
Picked up a stock ppm hood from Nick (purple94Z28)
Thank you both! Both great guys!

On the starter hookup, you should have 12 volt wire running from battery, purple wire, connects to small post on starter....and there is a thin black wire(i think)that gets grounded to the block...I used oil dip stick bolt....that wire is for the antitheft...if you have it hooked up to the starter, the motor will not start...And if I missed something that was already said, disregard everything I said...LOL

I think I recall the thin black wire I do have it grounded. Tomorrow I'm going to clean up all my grounds. If that doesn't work the starter is coming off to be testedOriginally posted by my1994z28 View PostOn the starter hookup, you should have 12 volt wire running from battery, purple wire, connects to small post on starter....and there is a thin black wire(i think)that gets grounded to the block...I used oil dip stick bolt....that wire is for the antitheft...if you have it hooked up to the starter, the motor will not start...And if I missed something that was already said, disregard everything I said...LOL2002 Z28 Camaro A4

Or
Dynomax:
http://www.jegs.com/i/Dynomax/289/24222/10002/-1
I ran the dynomax on my 99 Z28. Wasn't the best, sounded good a bit raspy between shifts but overall better than stock.
