  • Ok, so, brake lines are hooked up.

Went to adjust the rockers but the lifters werent primed with oil so the pushrods were sloppy if that makes sense. So, we decided to back off the rocker nuts and crank it over to prime it.... Hooked up the battery andddd nothing lol.

There has to be a loose or disconnected ground some where. Chances of the starter being bad are slim to none.

No. Dash light are coming on, interior lights etc. Getting the same voltage at starter as the battery has.

Edit: how many wires run to the starter? Purple wire on small stud. Main power from the battery on another stud then the one on the last stud jumps from solenoid to starter. Correct?

        • sounds correct. Put a meter on the small purple wire, the minus of meter to neg on battery. If you read +13. volts when key is in start then you are missing ground but I think you have some other wire not connected. There is a ground that runs to body terminal by battery, then there is real heavy gauge black wire that attaches to motor mount bolt by starter. (that is your engine and starter grd)

                    • I think if it was black, it would be too much in that area. I think the same color as the valve covers would look awesome

                        • looking good man, for the ewp wire, i ran mine the ghetto way last summer by just putting the wire into the cruise control fuse and pushing the fuse over it.. does it work, yes. but this winter i actually hooked it up to a relay and took the fuse cover off and spice into a hot off the ignition..
