Attempted to install the ac tonight. What a pain in the butt! So much crap in the way. I couldn't line up the lines to the compressor. The top has the header in the way from the bottom the k member is in the way.

frack, she's on jackstands for the night, I threw in the towel.

600, 800, 1200, 3000 then I used some compound and a mini buffer. Probably would of had better results with some aluminum polish but it was a last minute decision to polish it.

I have been wanting to get my a/c system back on the car as a selling point.

Untouched, since I pulled the motor. What? 3-4 years ago?

A little bit of wax and grease remover and a gray scotch brite cleaned the grease off well. I haven't ever polished aluminum but I'm going to start at 600 or 800 and work my way up.

Well it's been a crazy shitty week, first lose the chance on a house of my dreams (someone put in an offer like 2 days before me and the bank stopped taking offers just as i got pre approved, my car got backed into and my shift knob showed up 5 days late, at least it showed up...

As long as I make the same color sealer and make the basecoat exact everytime, I should be good.
