lol, I'm surprised you're not used to that by now.

That said, you might be surprised at Joe's prices. Any idea what the harness you need is selling for?

• Just needing the m6 harness for the interior portion is all you need as far as I know. Or you can modify yours to work but everyone says the m6 harness swap is way easier.

• Oh, my bad, I was just going by my faint memory of a 93 I briefly had and what I saw when I was under my 97 the other day. Most of the wiring for the trans came from the engine bay. Definitely do it that way if it's a separate harness for the trans!

• I know my a4 harness on my 95 comes from the engine bay, but what all is there to plug in on the t56 aside from the VSS and CAGS skip shift bs? I never got under my 94 m6 car to investigate. So maybe I'm wrong and you do need an m6 engine harness.

I was this [ ] close to buying a set of NT05r's. I figured it would be a good idea to hold off until I get the new trans. $$$

edit: does anyone know if the nt05r's are wide like a normal 315 or are they super narrow like the 555r's?

• If you arent upgrading torque arms i would at least reinforce that one. My UMI made a big difference behind the six speed, the stock one flexed a lot more than i realized. I stretched those bottom bolt holes you pictured above... I can probably thank my sledgehammer spec 3 clutch for that. Id probably weld some washers on in that spot.

Also there was no difference between 4L60e and t56 torque arms, i had both.

• Ill be upgrading the torque arm once I get the bugs worked out with the t56.

appearance wise there is a difference from my 700r4 torque arm compared to the stocker I got from Ryan. Give me a second ill post up pics. Length wise, who knows.

Edit:
The one on my car (700r4)

New one

Like I said, no clue if they are different other than the 3 cutouts in the center.
According to this site, a t56 one is needed.

vss (should come with trans)
may need a few random pig tails from dealer
lower shift boot (hopefully with trans)
u-bolt for master (dealer?)

Not much, $210 so far.

$800 for t56
$45 resurfacing flywheel
$100 (new chip for m6) haven't looked into pcm for less to do another burn. It's probably full price ($150ish)
$100 for misc. (fluid, bolts, pigtails, beer labor)

I don't see why I wont be able to sell my 700r4 and 3600 stall for $1000

• Picked up the trans today from Patrick, nice guy! Thanks again! Infinite_Ocean

What is the hole on the left side of the trans towards the bellhousing? Has 2 bolts, is that where the slave goes? It has a bracket that runs up to the input shaft.

I need:
Lower shift boot
Dust shield

Pribably this week after I clean up the trans casing ill take it to work and give it to the trans guy. Still don't know what I'm going to do for a rebuild kit.

anyone need a built 700r4?

• Hey! No problem. And yeah that's where the slave cylinder went. The bracket inside is the clutch fork.
