I vaguely remember someone saying that the new QTPs don't have the same problem? Not sure though, really vaguely remember that it's not an issue anymore or something. I have Race Ready's e-cutout which has a lifetime warranty.

I have a QTP I have heard they have a good rep, but the downfall is they are slow. It take me 3-5 second to fully open or close my cutout.

well thats good. i wasnt even gonna get a ecutout but coming home at 2am pulling into the garage with a open cut out would piss my dad off beyond belief lol

Yep trust me an e-cutout and quiet catback is the best combo ever, you will love it.

what cat back are you running? im going to trade my loudmouth for my buddies magnaflow. long tubes plus a magna flow should sound pretty good.

Kolin had a QTP E-cutout on his 93 T/A... never had a problem with it, and it was also used.

stock catback on my car it sounds like a bolt-on car until I open the 4" cutout and unleash hell. Magnaflow is quieter and should sound really good.

i was thinking about going back to a stock cat back just hard to find one for a good price in decent shape

mines not in good condition, it came off a car with over 100K its just there for quieting the car down I never race with the cutout closed anyways.

Stock catback is the way to go. I use to have LT's, ORY, cutout, and a stock catback. The 1st year I had the set up I didn't close the cutout once. The 2nd year it stayed closed about 90% of the time. Many people either didn't believe the car had LT's or commented on how it was the quietest car with LT's they had ever heard :]

i originally thought about trading down to a stock catback too but im probably never switching back from duals unless the law gets me.
