that would defiantly look bad ass but IMO its a lot of $$ for something that already looks fine and it will only make it look even more like a race car with no numbers to back it up as of yet.

very true and i agree with you, and my logic is as of right now im not going to fix something that isnt broke. so as long as my engine is running im not going to drop it and build it quite yet. but with 130xxx+ on a nitrous motor i see a rebuild in my near future. the numbers will come just in time
let u in a secret too lol to even put headers on the car i need to drop the motor cuz the exhaust manifold bolts were so rusted i busted the heads off the bolts in the back. soo to get the tool in there to pull the bolts out i have to drop the motor pssshhh pain the the ***Last edited by MunsterZ28; August 14th, 2009, 04:40 PM.wishing i could drive like joe and the atm squad

Please, PLEASE, paint that hood and spoiler before you do anything else. No one gives a shit about the inside if the outside looks like a mullet mobile.

lol yes yes im going to. but just priced out the gauges on summit. for all autometer nv series gauges to match the ones already in the car it comes to about $745 with shipping. then i have to have a custom peice cut to fit them
cost money to be cool
o and i always liked the 97+ dash layout better so could i pull one even out of a v6 if im doing custom guages and not worry about the wiring? i just want the newer dash so it shouldnt matter? idk meissen wanna chime in? cuz ill go pull a junkyard dash out for all i care right?Last edited by MunsterZ28; August 15th, 2009, 12:59 AM.wishing i could drive like joe and the atm squad

besides the dash, you also need the heat/Ac ducts, the air bag is the same.
I agree with Kyle, get the paint done. Go to the guy that did mine, hood and spoiler cost about 300 to 350.sigpic

bumping this up, edited the first page. heres some of the cliff notes kinda
"used summit to base pricing. listed what i have and have a wishlist on summit worth $12,000. things are going to be bought only as things break. so this is going to be a slow process but should be a fun ride when all said and done."
"when the engine goes im going with a big solid roller cam and a 383 forged rotating assembly with a set of lt4 heads and a ported intake. up the nitrous jets and 10 seconds or bust."wishing i could drive like joe and the atm squad

Doesn't matter what you trap. You still ran a 13. You're an auto and you still ran a 13. I can trap 140's all day and run consistent 14's. But at the end of the day my car is still a 14 second car. So what you're trying to say is you're a roll racer? I don't get it.
His car is choking. He needs headers and a good solid tune. After that we can up his jets and run it all day.
Your right it's not a race car, but if he wants to do the gauges so be it. We all know none of the stock gauges are fairly accurate when it comes down to things. Sure he doesn't need it but the LT1 dashes are ugly, and he wants to change it up a bit.Last edited by PWND3r; August 16th, 2009, 11:22 AM.Joe - ATM SQUADAt the shop, watching them build my car.

fred you need serious some practice. 14 flat at a hundred and ten sounds like you spun all through first, and then missed a couple gears. I ran 13.5 with a considerably slower trap at the same shitty track with no prep. Theres definitely nothing mechanically wrong with your car if you trapped 110 with stock manifolds, its running good.
I cant figure out what the heck you are talking about. you think jeff's car is a 13 second car? you think your own car is a 14 second car? or are you being sarcastic and im not getting it?Originally posted by PWND3r View PostDoesn't matter what you trap. trap speed matters everything. If you only look at E.T. you only use your car for drag racing. If thats the case, thats fine, drag racing is a skill. but dont be one of those people who claims their 5000 RPM stalled auto on pizza cutters is better than a car that finishes a couple tenths slower but can run an auto-x in half the time as said drag-mobile. Roll races put motor against motor, and the automatic (jeff) is always going to have the disadvantage in a roll race. Im sure he'd love to run you from a dig cause ive seen his car hang tire before.Last edited by JoeliusZ28; August 16th, 2009, 11:56 AM.-Joel
