          • I have a tiny shot, nitrous won't make that big of a deal with my car. It needs some stuff before I'm taking it back to the track.

              • Well let me know when your car is ready Joe, I don't consider a 125 shot to be "small" considering my car has no power adder and has a stock shortblock but I will race you both ways like I mentioned, I don't think that's a lot to ask from a 13 second car compared to your 127mph car.

                • We'll do no power adder then. The 125 shot only knocked off .2 I'm not worried about it. The 127 was a lie too.

His car is choking. He needs headers and a good solid tune. After that we can up his jets and run it all day.

Your right it's not a race car, but if he wants to do the gauges so be it. We all know none of the stock gauges are fairly accurate when it comes down to things. Sure he doesn't need it but the LT1 dashes are ugly, and he wants to change it up a bit.
wait a 13???? lol How he had sounded i thought that car was a low low 12 second car.

thats going to require the engine to be dropped, and if thats happening, more then longtubes are going on/in the engine

Never in my life have I heard to having to drop the motor on an LT1 car to install longtubes. But hey I'm not an LT1 guy!

he broke the exhaust bolts off in the heads, so the heads have to be easy outed now.

Late to the party but yeah, any 97+ dash will work if you're doing custom gauges.
