        • Oh yeah, it's so much cheaper. I'm glad I went this route, I was going to buy one for $170 shipped...and the chambers in that one were .35 cubic feet too small. This is built to spec.

                • You siliconed the sub in? WTF? You know they make rubber gaskets for a reason.

My dad told me to do that - and he did car stereo for 30 years, so it's for a reason.

                    • Have fun if you ever need to remove them. Sure it seals it up, but i would of used a rubber gasket.

                      • I just took them out of my old box, which they were siliconed in. No issues, just took a little bit of leverage.

                        It's silicone, not epoxy

                        • Liking all the updates. Need to get the car on a road course so you can really see how it handles and push it to it's limits! You would love it out there!

Then we need to get you into the speed which at least requires a helmet at the drag strip

Yes, road course is definitely where I would like to take it - I've been able to do a lot on on-ramps and off-ramps, but traffic and the huge bumps make it kind of hard sometimes

And yeah, I need to get a set of drag radials or slicks on the front next time I go to the track (which, I would like to have a downpipe and header then too), and hopefully I can hit 13s no problem.
