Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Well, well well...
I've been investigating my original supercharger here now.
The member I bought it from, blue 2.2, says that he didn't install it on their car at any point, because he lost his job. However, he gave me the username of who he bought it from, which is "powerz".
Selling a s/c kit picture shows every thing but the intake manifold. it is included just no pic yet. The supercharger has 0 miles on it since it was rebuilt with new rotors and the oil changed .It comes with a gm stage 2 hub and a gm stage 2 , 2.8 and a 2.7
super charger and t/b have been ported and made 17 psi of boost on my car with the 2.7
intake manifold and gasket
new gm stage 2 belt 0 miles
tensioner pulley and bracket with shock
coolant line fill T and cap
42 lb injectors and harness with about 3,000 miles on them
stock H/E pump with 17,000 miles on it . since it was not off my car checked it to make sure and it works great
another part I am not sure what it is called but it has to do with boost control
also have a stock s/c air intake if you need it the black plastic one
I think only other parts needed would be Heat exchanger and pipes well and a tune. I am not sure so ask around there are plenty on here who could tell you $ 700+shipping sold
had service work done they put the cold air intake in half ass it rubbed a dime size piece out and it went in and siezed it. I got it free but she is scared bad
rather rebuild it then get another
Rebuilding a supercharger is not a cheap ordeal...
And then members on MIfbody found these pictures in Powerz' Gallery...
Some of the rotor ends look like they do in the picture, but not the rest...
the guy i bought it from said he had it on his car for 17000 miles a friend of mine is a gm mechanic and i had him look at it he said its perfect the blades spin free and no marks on them
I'm pretty sure a mechanic would have noticed the marks you can see on the rotor ends...I'll be sure to take pictures of them when I get it off my car.
And also, I recall, they were originally selling it because they needed a new transmission - not because they lost their job, though I'm sure both could've been possible.
The kit also came with a tensioner, Filler-T and cap, a large heat exchanger hose and the full Injector harness - none of which were included...
In the PM to blue 2.2 about this:
those were the parts it didnt come with it wasnt a full kit i thought it was when i bought it and then later found out it wasnt and i had the injector pigtails cause i read hunters how to and saw how he cut the injector harness so i cut mine and threw the rest away
I have to reiterate - that supercharger oil I drained was NOT new. New SC oil is clear, and running the car for 5 minutes is not enough to turn it to that murky black/brown that it was in. So either A) the SC oil was never changed like Powerz said it was, or B ) blue 2.2 ran it on his car...
But with the marks on the rotors, I'm wondering if this "powerz" just recoated the rotors, or didn't fix the bearings, which are likely shot...
Anybody have any observations I didn't catch?
The big question is: who screwed who and/or who's lying to me.

why not try and demand your money back from the seller. He stated facts that were not true, maybe he new, maybe he did not. In any event he stated it was a good super charger. he should stand behind his word. At the least pay for new bearings. Unit would probably not rattle then and still work. with scouring probably not give max boast but still work.

Yeah, I could do that. I'm gonna call Magnuson and see how much they'll give me for it...
But I'm not supposed to get the one I bought till tomorrow, so likely the car won't be up and running. It's already painted all black, but I'm gonna try and find some chrome engine paint and paint those accents on like the other one had. I'm not gonna sit there and polish it...
