Hubcentric rings and lug nuts (Made in USA, to boot - just like the wheels) arrived yesterday.
Still need to order my tires, but I have till the 31st before the $50 rebate promotion ends. I'll be doing that soon. Hell, maybe today for funzies.

I love Amazon Prime. So glad I, for whatever reason, decided to search these again on Amazon...and there they were...

Next step, before the end of the month is to order a set of Dunlop Direzza ZIIs! $50 off a set of 4 if ordered before the end of the month. Won't use them immediately, but it's definitely worth getting ready to do so!!!
Stoked.

They shall be rolled out onto the site, once the reception has been completed.

So would I!Originally posted by sman View PostId like to see a bad ass set of forged pistons and tons of boost..........But I really hope we are talking about wheels here!
I can't make such a bold statement as to which I may have ordered...

I think I have some more pictures to bring this up to date. Otherwise it's been enjoying it's slumber this winter on the battery tender (which I had to buy after the battery died completely when it got shit-**** cold out in January).
Also.
I may have bought some shiny round things.

Replaced my front left wheel bearing a couple weekends ago (May 19th), much better! Rotating the old one definitely does not feel smooth, at all.
As far as the process...pretty straightforward. Hardest part was getting the hub out of the knuckle and off the half-shaft...but even that wasn't too rough.Attached Files- IMG_1676.JPG (2.52 MB, 5 views)

Went with some friends from car club back at Kettering (me being the only alumni in the group
) to Lapeer yesterday!
Best run was a 14.113 @ 98.75 mph. 2.243 60', a good two-tenths quicker and nearly 2 mph faster than my previous best! Keep in mind, that was with my two 12s in the back...a good amount of weight on the wrong tires. I'm confident that removing it would put me damn near into the 13s.
These Potenzas, compared to my much less grippy other all-seasons were much more consistent and easy to launch on. They still spun (as is evident by the 2.2-2.3 second 60'), but it was not a hassle. They did great for all-seasons! Summer tires (or slicks
) will really allow this thing to stick right off the line. Hell, even a stickier track like Milan may do it, with the all-seasons...may have to head there this summer.
I really was happy with the consistency of my ETs...literally it ran a 14.1XX or a 14.3XX in the five runs I made. Nothing more, less or in between, which says something for the tires...
My hub didn't sound too happy with me on the way home, I think I'll be ordering a new one here this week and would like to have it in before the next AutoX in a couple weekends...
