    Well, today was gorgeous outside, so I brought up the wheels and tires from the basement outside into the garage to finally make the swap.





    Now the comparison:





    So now the pics on the car!
































    Well that's where I ran into a bit of an issue. The lugs I bought (some nice McGard chrome ones) are too big. They fit the stud just fine, but there is basically no space between the lug nut and the wheel. Even with my stock lugs, there wasn't enough space for the socket. Turns out I need "tuner" lugs, which I was not aware of beforehand. Bummed me out pretty bad as I was totally stoked to get these on the car, but I guess I'll have to wait. I ordered a set of spline-drive tuner lugs, which should work, but I'll sure as hell test it in the basement this time before dragging all the wheels and tires back up again.

    So, more waiting. Oh well...

    you dont need to put the steelies back on bc of the cold. it isnt gonna hurt anything
