  • Awesome, thanks Larry! You will have to PM or TXT me your address again, I have the hardest time remembering what street your road is off of, lol.

School me on TQ arms. I heard the short are better for the strip, but the long are better for DD, auto-X, etc. I assume I want a long arm for what im doing. Also, what TQ arm relocation do I want? I want this thing off the tailshaft of the trans before I break another one..... Can the relocation x-member be mis mached across brands with the TQ arm? I am looking at the founders on car long arm.

    • short arm will hit the tires harder but I really think either will work for you. I do agree with getting it off the tailshaft for sure.

      • Ok, see any problem in Founders products? Currently everything I have is UMI, great quality, no problems. But were talking over $100 difference for a (what appears to be) identical product....

        • Nothing wrong with founders what so ever. Have their STB ,LCA,RLB and adjustable panhard..soon to be T.A

Great products, well built, friendly pricing. What's not to love

          • What kind of front mount bushing does it have? Some of the tA use odd bushings but if the TA works with the stock front trans mount Then a bmr relocation and most others should work .

            • ta.JPGThey say it fits in the factory front mount with the included Energy suspension poly mount.

              • Yeah. A bmr should work. They include a plate to fill the gap

                • A BMR arm, or a BMR relocation bracket?

                  • He means the BMR bracket. Think about it this way. If the arm is made to be used in the factory bracket it should fit in the BMR bracket

                    • Gotcha, that's what I was thinking. Just wanted to make sure.

As Founders doesn't make the relocation bracket yet, I am obviously going to have to go with someone like UMI or BMR. Larry suggested BMR, I had always been told UMI was better. But does it really matter? Is there a difference between these two? Especially in the fitment department?

Maybe im not as bright as I thought, but what is the difference between these two....

                        • Bump for previous posts?

Also, was going to order the Racetronix pump and wire kit and got to thinking. I still have the v6 pump and bucket, will the racetronix kit work with that? Right now I am using the factory feed line up to where the factory fuel filter is, goes into the inlet of a C5 filter/regulator, output of that connects to the feed line to the rails and the return from the filter/regulator is connected to the factory return at that point. The rest of the return line (filter to rails) is not connected or used, which I really need to rip out.....

Maybe we can work something out...I don't know your timeline but sometime this spring I am planning to pull my bucket/racetronix/hotwire setup just to hack the bucket up and install a larger pump. Do you know if your bucket would work in my car (1999 plastic)? If so, I could just hack your v6 bucket and you could install my already assembled bucket with racetronix
