    • sucks to hear this all happened, but maybe your dad can get some action, but usually going with a cool calm head and talking and not arguing with a shop manager or owner will usually get some results. Hope it works in your favor and at least make it right by getting your wheel back to the way it came into their shop. keep us posted

      • Oh I understand. Negotiating is part of my job, you get more with sugar than you do with salt. (unless all hope is lost and negotiations went downhill, them give'm hell!) My dad was busy and didnt have time to pick it up, and ive been slammed at work cant leave. Going to have to deal with it tomorrow.

            • Updates on the wheel are in the thread about my wheels. The inside of the side wall of the tire ended up being bad as well and they replaced that for free. Was not compensated for the chip or scratches...

Now, on to the fun stuff. The car needs bigger injectors, they're beyond maxed out right now (120-140%) Thats priority number one. No juice until then. Dropped the car off at my buddies steel fab company yesterday for them to measure and figure out the bottle mount plate. I refuse to pay 60 something dollars for a steel plate to mount the bottle to in the spare tire area. My buddy is just going to fab something for me. Hoping to have that done by this weekend, if thats the case im going to the show at rodgers on the 12th, will probably throw it on the dyno to get some NA numbers. Then Sunday start running wire and hose for the n2o.

So if anyone has a nice set of injectors floating around that they want to get rid of holler! Im not super knowledgeable on all the different ones out there, but white top 3800, ford 36 or 42, and the like is what I think im looking for. Any other suggestions welcome!

              • Call Katech and see if they have any ASA injectors left. They are the white top 868 3800 supercharged injectors.

They had them on ebay a couple years ago for $200 a set of 8 new in the box. Maybe they have a few sets laying around still.

EDIT: do you still have the stock fuel pump? If so change that while your at it. Trust me - been there done that. When I changed my injectors the duty cycle was still stupid high (can't remember numbers) - and then after the pump the car required a retune and the duty cycle settled to an acceptable level.

                • I will have to look into those. I know Larry works there now, maybe he can check for me.

They work great in my car - I'd have to fire up the laptop and check a log to see what the exact duty cycle is, but I'm thinking it's in the mid 70 range.

I think I still have all the IFR tables and such as well - if you end up getting them, I can send you the info and you can give it to Phil (might save him some time from having to look it all up).

That's cool if Larry works there!
