  • WTF is this???? Might be out for the year..

Messed with the car today, started it a few times, same issue as in other thread... Wife comes out and asked if it was fixed? I reply "did it sound like it's fixed?".. Went to start it again while she was out there, hit the ignition switch, heard a loud click and lost all power! But it did not throw my circuit breaker for the battery(Battery is re-located to trunk).. When I turn the key off I get this clicking over in the PCM area(but it sounds like it is inside the car, not the PCM itself).. Disregard the beeping, had the key in ignition with door open.. What the heck is the clicking sound!!!!! I'm done with it for awhile...

Um, sounds like its sending morse code or something, lol

BCM? Can just bearly hear a clicking, my bcm was making a weird clicking noise when the power relay was coming unsoldered from it. Also lost power windows, locks, radio, and lights. Could be your issue. Id pull it and look for cracked solder around the main power relay.

Could have also just killed the battery, did that to my jeep when I was having weird issues, did alot of cranking on it that day and one time the battery just up and died. It was just out of warranty. Will not take a charge or anything, it just up and died, like it had a bad cell in it or something.

the loud "click" on startup is a sign that there is a bad ground somewhere or something along those lines. What it is doing is immediately killing the battery, kind of like it you touch the two battery posts together with a wrench

if you hook up a battery charger to it, I bet your morse code goes away. Make sure your battery terminals and ALL major electrical connections are tight. i.e. battery terminals, anything you have for battery relocation, alternator wire, starter, etc.

I'll just move the battery back up front, just takes a few minutes.. I have 12 volts at the circuit breaker(in spare tire area) and the correct amps. Front of the car I only have 5.6 volts and no amps... I have a bad ground somewhere...

Edit: and there is no loud click when I try to start, it is just dead, dead, dead......

yes try that and put it on the charger for a while. I have had issues like you are describing to a T. It was just because of a simple wiring issue. Your video sounds just like my car when I kill the power in it soemtimes

Moved battery, have juice again... Going to have to re-check my grounds for re-location.... Still have the other issue though... Starts, runs for 10ish seconds, MAF P0101 and dead... Clear code, car fires right back up, rinse and repeat.. I even pulled my nitrous plate cause it was not seating right to the Intake.. TB only now, and nothing changed...
