its a coolant crossover tube and you can get them off gmpartsdirect.com I believe or a dealersip or someone like me who has one lying around because the LS6 intake uses different ones than the 98-00 cars. Fortunatly for you Tim I have another extra set that is for a LS6 inatake

Very true but an easy way to get around that is to take a dremel and grind the ribs off the bottom of your LS6 intake so you can use the pre 01 coolant pipes.

Since you all were asking for pictures in my other thread, I thought id put them in the right thread.

Here is how she sits as of now. I finially got the broken ps pump pulley off, that was rediculus. I ordered the oil deflector, ps pump pulley, and the ps pump reservoir (boke it getting the pulley off) today and they should be here tomorrow. Intake bolts throttle cable bracket (next problem), throttle cable, and the gas pedal should also be arriving tomorrow.

Here is my problem with the throttle cable bracket, apparently the direction of this metal tube(no idea yet on purpose) is the only difference between truck and ls1 TB's, Im hoping I can heat it up and turn it, but let me know if thats a no no.

Also did I mention I repainted my intake?(PO did kinda a crappy job, I blame not enough prep work) I even got 99% of the molding marks out, looks pretty good if you ask me?

There was dust on the lens of my BB so the pictures did come out all that great and almost make it look a greyish black, but it is 100% black, very deep looking too after I cleared it.

looking good. Now just polish up that tb or paint it along with the coil brackets and your top half of the engine looks like new
