I am thinking I am going to do my heads in Greyish/aluminum color. Was originally going to go with black, but I think an aluminum color will look good as well.

The holden intakes I am going to paint black and then polish the upper manifold color to match the valve covers. Gonna have some bling under the hood.

as soon as everything is ordered and installed yea. It is under way though,

          Still need to buy:

          Stall
          trans cooler
          lifters
          misc. gaskets
          some bolts
and some other odds and ends

Also some nitrous goodies for the second bottle setup I will be having. Things like another heater, blow down tube, bottle valve to replace the old style I have, and a y fitting.

painted the holden intakes today, just have to polish the upper cover yet now to complete the intakes. I set the cover on the top though to give you an idea how it looks so far

200-205hp I think they rate them but their computers are detuned so hard to say since it is not the same car and computer as our fbody. I think I am going to see more torque than hp from these suckers though. Nice long runners instead of our horrible intakes. Also gives me the option to go direct port now later on down the road.

My upper mani has been ported some to help smooth out some bumpy areas and restrictions. There are two versions of the series II holden intakes. These are the early version ones.

We will see how they like being paired with some abbott heads though. I need to do some fitting under the hood then I will be sending the lower to abbott to port match it to their heads that I have here.

How are you going to route the throttle body and intake since it's coming out the side instead of the front. Are there going to be clearance issues with the brake booster or fenderwells?.

I will be taking a flange that attaches to the upper manifold inlet and welding a 90* bend to the flange. Then another flange to attach the stock fbody tb too. From there I will run a pipe down into the front fender where my current CAI goes. My egr has been gone for some time so that is not in the way. Coil packs I am going to mount onto the firewall instead of current location as those would be the only things in the way.

I might also move the power steering res. to the front fender but I will have to see what things look like once the stock manifolds are out of there. The coolant elbow mounts on the front of the holden intakes also that will free up space along the side of the engine as well.

I am not to worried about the routing of the intake piping, that will be easy. I am more interested in seeing how close the top of the manifolds are to the cowl and such as these are about 1.5-1.75" taller than stock manifolds.
