    • I am also altering my plan to finish the bottom of the car. I have decided to go with chasis saver instead of painting it body color. Some of the rust spots are starting to rust again. Even with epoxy primer on them. So, I will sand them down and chasis saver the entire bottom. If I want to paint it later I can go right over the Chasis Saver. I may still paint the engine bay. I'm on the fence about that still.

      • Disregard the previous post. I an scuffing the bottom by hand. I found more surface rust issues. So I will hit them with some phosphoric acid. Rinse it off and spray some epoxy primer on it from end to end. And I am back on the body color underneath wagon again.

              • It's not perfect, I had some issues. The visqueenstuck to a shock tower, I got some crazing on a frame rail in the engine bay. Couple runs. But it's DONE!
                Back to the build.

                • Man, that looks so clean! I love it. Don't sweat the "issues" - that engine bay and undercarriage is better then 99.9% of cars on the road

                    • I painted the heat shield for the fuel tank and lines yesterday. Same color as the bottom of the car. Came out ok. Had some problems with the spray gun. Primer was real rough. Oh well. No biggie.

                        • Thanks guys!

So I was looking ahead at things and I took a look at my seats. Both front buckets are 6 way with lumbar support. From what I can gather the is a wiring harness and a 2 hose line that goes from seat to seat under the carpet. Of course I don't have it. I have 2 from the earlier version the wiring portion will plug in but, it is short a couple of wires and the single hose won't plug in.
I'm going to need a wiring diagram to figure this one out. Unless someone has this system in their car I could look at.
