I don't ask him and your right he wouldn't spill it to me anyways. I would have to say you don't come on here and tell lies so if you have a 5.3 it doesn't make 609tq on motor unless is a converter spike lol.

minor differences but in a 350/355, the difference would be . . . . . . . . .
1500-2000 RPM - 226/232 about 5-8 ft lbs of TQ better
2500-4500 RPM - both cams are equal.
5500 RPM - 228/236 cam about 3-5 HP better
6000-6500 RPM - 228/236 cam about 5-8 HP better.
232/240
lose another 8-10 RWTQ below 2000 RPM, lose about 5 RWTQ below 3000 RPM, similar power from 3500-5500 RPM, about 3-5 HP better at 6000 RPM, about 5-8 HP better at 6500 RPM.
This would be in comparison to the 228/236 cam.sigpic

The cam in my dad's Firebird is pretty crazy...
316/326 .608/.638 110 LSA.
He is also thinking about putting a different cam in it this winter.
He was looking at a 302/312 .647/.657 110 LSAsigpic
