Man that looks like a really fun car to play around with. One of these days I'm going to get enough courage to buy a fixer upper and learn how to do some advanced engine work. Right now don't have much time on my hands.
Joelius how much that car lift run ya? I need to get something like that for my 04 Cobra and 02 TA, then again the garage door would get in the way. Just glad I have a place to put my Cobra right now.

I drove the car today!! turns out i didnt have problems like i mentioned in other threads, it must have just been a lifter sticking. It runs good but now coolant is gushing from that stupid elbow at the front of the intake manifold. I had replaced this with a new one! I must have either cracked it or rolled the o-ring somehow... now i have another project

well Derek, its a $4 part that is causing the issue
So far its been more of a "time pit" than a money pit, and it looks like the only way i can replace that piece without removing the intake again is to pull the water pump assembly off.
The car drives pretty nicely for the mileage but I think I am just going to turn around and sell it regardless. I am happy that it looks like I will be able to save it from the junkyard at least
