The install isnt until right after christmas. This thread is just going to be a waste of server thread for a while.

start soaking those bolts down with PB blaster nate. Especially the y-pipe flanges. A couple weeks of soaking it will come apart like butter.

Ya..I dont live with my parents. Ill hit the bolts this weekend. After christmas ill get get the car in the air and just keep hittin it. The current headers have been on for about a year, hopefully things are not too tight.

wasnt saying right now, but when you get a chance. weve got 2+ weeks, as long as it soaks for 3+ days itll be fine but the longer the better.

Those are some damn expensive bolts!

you will pay for what you get. If you dont want to spend a lot at least just get the ARP non locking bolts

split locks are well worth their price - much easier to get a wrench on in tight spaces, WONT strip, and won't back out either.

sell the stock manifolds afterwards on ebay to take some of the pain away.

fwiw I only have stainless non-locking bolts from Summit. They were like $15. They work just fine. Then again I'm always under my hood.

those are not ideal nate. you DEFINATELY need to have a 12 point head on the bolt. that hex head will make your life hell
