Not in the plans yet. I want to start planning the project out thoroughly and make a decision based on what will be involved. Right now i am leaning towards leaving it as until the engine comes out for a rebuild. I think im due for piston rings but im not spending that money right now, i want to do the whole shebang the right way.

• awesome! I have been looking into Oil and PS coolers for my Z28

• I placed my PS cooler behind the airdam as well, but did not put any holes in the dam yet.
but I was replacing the crappy inline factory LS1 upper hose PS cooler.

• dawdaw here you go. Unless someone has any bright ideas I've come to the conclusion theres no way this thing is going in. Even if i cut off the offending random bolt & metal, I still need at least a full inch more clearance to the side of the engine bay than i have right now.

• it looks like other people that have made this bracket did it differently using a piece of angle iron for the top mount instead of the one built into the bracket. Kyle did, you ever have mine in a car?

I'd like to get an oil cooler as well but i am going to see how hot the oil temps actually get before i mess with it.

• Do you think you could use a smaller CS130 alternator?

• this mount hole just needs to be more inline with the bracket.

• Should be back together soon, fabricating the correct bracket hasn't proven to be too difficult. Dads doing some welding for me tonight then i just have to drill holes and put it together. Next step will be finding the right size belt. I think Kyle may have given me the part number for one a while back, need to look through my old PMs.

• diggin it. Love the idea, but I just can't justify getting rid of the A/c.

• I believe there are other options with custom made brackets but its not nearly as affordable as this is.

I also found a picture of what the new belt routing will look like. A bit concerned there might not be enough contact on the PS pulley, i guess we'll see how it works. If my belt is squealing at 70mph around corners at waterford hills, ill know what the problem is

• Removing the A/C would be tough for me, but i could live without it. I only use it when weather permits and am cruising, otherwise i can't bring myself to use it just cruising around town, kills the experiance for me.

• The things I would do to have a welder at my place...

Deciding to remove the AC also gets a hell of a lot easier if it's already broken
