The issue is that i flipped one of the brackets to relocate the lines higher. In the stock position they would have been blatantly in the way of the exhaust. The stock torque arm seems to be somewhat formed in towards the driveshaft, it is not a straight shot from the pig to the transmission whereas the UMI is perfectly straight.

    • I never realized you still had stock fuel injectors. When I went with the CC503 cam everyone was telling me to upgrade to 30# injectors right off the bat.

Yessir, my fuel system is completely stock. Maybe its been leaning out up top, maybe not. who knows.ive never had a *working* wideband on it, but it obviously hasnt beem significant enough to hurt anything in the last 4 years and 12k miles.

        • True - the upgraded fuel injectors might help it out a bit more.

I more or less decided that i would not tolerate the car being in its current mechanical state any longer. It was either sell it or stick some money into it, i chose the latter.

                • Brian, where did you buy your injectors? Or where is a good place to buy injectors?

                        • I'll see if my old man still has some friends from work that aren't retired. Sure do miss getting "sample" lifters and injectors from Delphi.

I got my set of refurbished Ford SVO 30# on ebay for some ridiculously low price (like ~60 bucks low) and seem to be the best bang for the buck

                          Edit:

I think it was Fuel Injection Connection on ebay that I got mine from:
                          http://www.ebay.com/itm/30LB-REBUILT...647a1e&vxp=mtr

Here's another set to keep an eye on (I thought green tops were 36# but could be 8 injectors originally for the XR4Ti turbo 4 cylinder)

                          • Thanks Michael!! I'll look into that.

Out in the garage right now working on opening up the trap door. Also, here is a pic of the EFI Connections kit i bought from Ryan. Harness should be plug and play with exception of the transmission which will need to be re-pinned. Will be using a 2002 PCM.
