Thanks mike, quite sure theyre different though. Jeremy ill check into the options you suggested.

Brent... Curious why you think the dual in tank pumps are the way to go? For almost $600 id rather just go external and be done with it. noise isnt an issue with an exhaust like mine

    • how do the external pumps stay cool or not over heat? I thought that was part of the whole reason for them being in the tank to begin with?

      • Im not sure about the others, but for the a1000 it looks like the entire case is also a billet aluminum heatsink like you see on PC processors.

Thats why im expecting it to wipe out my suspension budget needs to be done though, im tired of that UMI torque arm being used as a paperweight while these lines are in the way.

            • You will hate the noise of a big external pump...loud exhaust or not...it's just fricken annoying.

                • I don't think you can go wrong either way, fuel systems are just plain expensive to do correctly. A bigger single is less wiring and parts to fail but in the same breath its louder and you may want to sump the tank. In tank pumps are quieter but you would need to run 2 to make the same power of one a1000. I say if your redoing it all with an lines ect then might as well over pump it and do it once and have room to grow the hp.

                  • I have no issue sumping the tank and reliability is a far greater concern to me than noise. I want to drive this car to chicago and back next year, and even before this happened i wouldnt have because ive never trusted that pump. Ill check out John's car which has two a1000s before i make a decision. I highly doubt noise will be a factor... I cant drive my car without my ears ringing for a half hour afterwards. Racetronix or walbro is fine but if internal i want a complete sending unit for reliability. No exceptions.

                          • Haven't had time to figure out the exact setup yet, but im about 90% sure im going external. Because race car.

Also... thinking about doing some more floorboard modification to tuck these mufflers up higher so I can slam the car lower!

                            • Question for the audience. would it be beneficial for me to upgrade injectors? I am still using the stockers at the ~375rwhp level. Haven't had any issues yet, but I'm assuming they have to be close to maxed.

Cant speak to the injectors, but would like see an X-pipe and the choke-masters gone.
