I dont think longer push rods will effect cranking compression at all, if you have them adjusted properly. It will just mess up your valve train geometry pretty bad. Eric L

I believe that my pushrods are 25 thousandths too long but I'm not sure. Other than that I can't adjust it because I've still got the stock rockers-torque to 22 ft. lbs. and that's it. I can't think of anything else that might cause this other than something in the tune.

Well, I guess it is right. I mean, it would probably run like total poo if the valves were not seating properly anyhow.

Five+ more years until I go F/I on a big cube motor! I think I'll work on tweaking for gas mileage for now.

...so after looking at the datalogging I did on those three pulls it's looking like I'm running out of fuel. I think that the injector duty cycle going to 104% near redline is enough to justify that.

Just because the duty cycle was that high, dosent mean your running out of fuel, it just means that the injector is REALLY working. If your A/F ratio on the wide band didnt lean out at high rpms than your ok. I think your dyno numbers sound fine for the mods done. What is your new compression ratio with the LS6 heads and gaskets your using? From friends of mine that have done similar mods, I think your numbers sound fine. Do you have a graph to post?

His number are low if you ask me, we had a cam only car dyno at the dyno day that had untouched heads and a slightly bigger cam and that put down 415rwhp. It did have a FAST intake but thats still minimal difference. Track numbers will tell all though. Hows your clutch?

What are factory chambers vs LS6? Is there a differance in chamber size at all? And what gaskets is he using. Are they thicker or thinner than stock? Issues like this interest me. Eric L

Post the graph please. What kind of dyno? It does seem down on power but I would really like to see what the trap speed is. I would expect around 118 from that set up.

It doesnt matter what other people make if its a different dyno. The guy that tested the cam Vinny is using made 421 threw an auto cam only on Speed incs dyno...

                            EXACTLY. Trap speed doesn't lie.

Doesn't Vinnie have a fast intake too?

I'm surprised you did all your tuning without a wideband. Did the dyno provide an AFR readout on the pull?
