Dan's 97 Camaro part 2

This all started with just pulling the timing cover to replace gaskets. Then I got a new 24x kit for pretty cheap, then decided heads and cam.

This is exactly why I didn't bother doing the oil pan, timing, and rear main gaskets when I had the engine out. I knew it would lead to a full rebuild of the engine, which would lead to some machine work. Might as well wait until I'm ready to tackle that head on.

Spec Stage 2 clutch kit, Spec steel flywheel, pressure plate bolts, and pushrods have been ordered.

The heads have been torque down and I'm going to set the lash and repin the harness hopefully Sunday after work.

I also decided to use paint for grills on my timing cover lol. I actually kind of like it.

Do you have anymore big stuff left on the checklist or is it just finishing everything up? Looks like it shouldn't be any problem at the rate you're knocking stuff out!

The last things to do is:
Set lash
Put the motor all back together
Repin the harness
Fuel pump.
Then I can start it.

Last would be the clutch
