  • Slip fit is extremely simple and doesn't cost extra. Kit is made for it.

                    • How much did that run? I just had a full x system put on mine for 175 bucks.

                      And they put flanges on it so it's terribly easy to take off

                      • It was $400.

                        Got most of it together last night. Sounds great. The turn downs are made to be welded not clamped though

                        Going to get some bolts today to hang the rear and it should be good to go.

                          Every slip fit ive ever tried to take apart has been a total pain in the ass and the longer its on the car the worse it is. On mac's gold car we literally had a tow strap tied around the y-pipe out the back of the car attached to a forklift while hitting it with a BFH and it still wanted to drag the whole car around by the headers.

                          • same here and we actually used the same method of removal, switched to v-bands a few years ago that or 3 bolt flange FTW.
