      • plus if you "need" to, you can always adjust your low beams down a bit towards the ground.

Thats a last chance effort but ya, that is an option.

12 weeks..not as long as it seems.

Take this how you may. But i've installed more than 200 sets of hids. I used 3 sets of these and they did not last more than 3 months. Most of the sets ive installed were from DDMtuning.com and are under $30 a set. I just took a set out of my moms car after 6 years and i only took themout because we sold it. Just my opinion if you want the best bang for your buck DDM is the way to go. But i do wish you luck with these lmk how they last.

I finally figured out the reason i had so much trouble with the ones in my fusion is because the headlight voltage in that car is "modulated" or something like that, basically like a governor on the voltage. Supposed to extend the life of standard bulbs... and in doing so, makes HIDs pretty much unusable.
If your car was like my friends dodge avenger we had to install a compactor to get the power to stop fluctuating. His car would make the HIDS blink. Then my GF's car had a problem that the factory harness would spike bellow 12v when other systems were on so i installed a harness like the on in the link and it only uses the factory plug as a switch wire and it uses the power straight from the battery for 12v constant. I didn't know if any of this would help you?

If these die Ill get a set of DDM. I didn't get them because of the horror stories I found about that company and shipping.

I was hoping to have pics of the lights to post but I had a heck of a time getting the turn signals out/in. Going to go back at it tomorrow.

I forgot to get new bulbs for the turn signals. Thinking about the kind that look silver when off/orange when on.

Yea the turn signals can be a pain in the ass. Also, those bulbs are called stealth bulbs.

                • Ordered a new pair of turn signals. The once I got are not what I wanted, made a mistake when ordering. I don't want the front to be clear. Went through this with my black car but I guess I just forgot..getting old.

Ill get some stealth bulbs, thanks!

They ship straight from the factory in china so it does take a week or two to get them but ive never had a set broken, even tho the box is normally pretty rough lol
But i guess you get what you pay for, i know some other HIDs can cost over $100

                    • Got the headlights in, turn signals in(they are coming back out) and HID's in.

HID kit was extremely easy to install, and works just like it should. The real test will be seeing how long it lasts.

I am going to look into HID fog lights since I have one burned out, and the other looks yellow now.

Put my old halogen bulbs in the glovebox incase I need them.

This is the only one I can find anymore. Most of them are clear face now and I hate seeing the bulb and the part that holds the bulb.
