Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Whistler mod FTW, those will look great! Any plans for tinting the turn signals or anything?

you should have better luck than i did. I finally figured out the reason i had so much trouble with the ones in my fusion is because the headlight voltage in that car is "modulated" or something like that, basically like a governor on the voltage. Supposed to extend the life of standard bulbs... and in doing so, makes HIDs pretty much unusable.
From what I could find they are all about the same when comparing the cheap HID's. I am going to try and get them in on Sunday. I just couldnt put those brand new lights in without some kind of new bulb.
My hesitation with HIDs has always been twofold: 1, I don't want to attract too much attention to myself on the road, lest cops take notice. 2, I don't want to be a jerk to other drivers.

digital ballast ? they should last a while, I have had mine for almost 11 yrs, only had to replace one bulb, of course I didn't pay 30 bucks, but my brothers are cheap ebay ones and they look good and have lasted longer then I thought thus far.

The LS camaro headlight housing features a scatter shield of sorts that focuses the light and creates a cutoff, unlike the sealed beam lights in lt1 camaro and all firebirds. I didn't want to blind other people either, if they do I'll just ditch them.
There are some pretty good threads on tech that explain it all. Still going to be bright as hell, blue, and obviously not stock to a 98 camaro. Only time I drive my car at night is coming back from ww and that's gotten pretty rare lately.
