Started off the night thinking I was good to get the interior back together....got it together and the shifter would only hit OD

Tore it all back down worked some magic and put everything back in except the drivers seat and bottom dash panels.

I'm getting tired of working around the roll bar.......

who or where did that wording come from? why dont they say horz style also how does it being mounted that way work efficiently ? unless your using a flush mount fan to the cooler, maybe I missed that part

I just need to get an aftermarket hood, ditch the wipers and put a victor jr w/spray bars and 4150 tb on it. Then I could mount my trans cooler like crack head Larry

If I could I would, heck if I had some cash to spare we'd be working on this thing tonight and tomorrow.

Got held up - the blind hole puller is delayed in fedex land, so it won't be done this weekend.

Got word from Steve @ Monster - the machining on the flywheel screwed me. Apparently there was .020 average runout on the face, and that's what destroyed the clutch.

I'll be talking to the machine shop on Monday. Nothing like throwing a handful of hundred dollar bills away due to $30 worth of bad machining.

Worked on the base tune a little shift points and all - with HPTuners 2.24 you aren't supposed to need a segment swap the software handles it now. Reading the forums it seems it works 75% of the time. So I tracked down a compatible 4l80 tune just in case I need HPTuners to perform the segment swap for me.

I've swapped other cars in the past and it's been an issue - I figured I'd rather be safe than sorry.

if you have a diff input and use the large truck or vette pilot it fills the TC support opening. f body pilot doesnt

Damn madman dipstick tube came out when I was wrestling the trans around. No f'ing way I can see to get it back in without dropping the trans
