Basically just removing the lines and disconnecting the pump. Takes no more than 30min.

If you plan on doing this before your LT's then you will need block off plates. Pump is connected by 4 bolts I believe. I had a hard time with one bolt.

And a plug for your manifold.

i'm doing it at the same time as install. so i just need the EGR intake and manifold block offs?

If you are doing it when you install your LT's then you will only need 1 block off and that is for the intake.

You will not need manifold block off since you have race headers. I believe the size for intake is 1 3/8, which you want a freeze plug.

Not that this is incredibly detailed, but may fill in a couple gaps:

A 1 3/8 expansion plug is what you need for the intake manifold after the EGR delete. They sell them at Autozone.

Why did I say freeze plug. Go to sleep rolando

Yea the plug should be couple dollars at most.

Why not just get an ls6 intake or better

Already spent $4500 and it only April.... I want to drop in a 9" rear end next winter so I'm saving up for that as well. Now if I get my promotion at work then I will have to reward myself. Maybe a fast92 and tb

Nice, how much did it cost you to replace the seal and have the cover put on?
