• My suggestion on the drag bar is to go with the lighter option. I have the UMI and although they claim it to be adjustable its not like you can change the stiffness of the bar, I have always had mine on the stiffest setting anyways. Its pretty heavy though and they all function the same way. I will say that some of the older styles (ex spohn) aren't bent to clear some adjustable shocks so keep that in mind as well.

Let me jump into the flame suit real quick!

I don't actually like the way that looks on white cars.
If I had t tops I would probably wind up putting white mirrors on it!

I do need some paint/body work in the spring though.

EDIT:

After looking online, I don't mind the black roof, I just like white mirrors better.
I did not see many white hard tops when searching, most were t top cars.
My car is an low-option base model though, so it makes sense.

I will probably just go with the mwc then. I need to order a d/s loop from them too. Eric is pretty good about discounts when buying more than one thing too.

I like the white roof

Plus, I would rather spend the money on making it faster honestly.

No bro you are breaking the rules about cars. A car that looks like a million bucks but has 100hp is always sweeter than a primer car with a blown 572 under the hood making 1500hp.

all about show not go bro!

I won't be "ready".
I won't be paying to have something I don't care about painted!

Well....you're going to be "ready" for something. Think you also prepared yourself to be flamed.....

I need a hood refinished mcalus will most likely be doing that.
I also need a dent popped.

Other than that, my list of appearance to-dos is done.
It's not a show car, never will be.

Maybe someday I will have a car with a black roof, a black ws6

• I lied...
I just ordered something that has to do with appearance only.

I will post pics when it comes.

Also buying Jim's UMI dragbar.
Seems to be best for a street/strip car and the price is awesome.

Ordered my 3.90 gears.

PCM should be back from Steve in the next few days, then I can put my SVO injectors in.

• I hope so!
My best 60' last year was a 1.61 on the 100 shot.
It spun a bit, I am hoping it will hook and run mid 1.5s now.

I get so many mixed reviews of where to adjust everything to start out.

UMI says
bottom hole on LCA relocation.
second to top on TA relocation
try for -2 pinion angle
keep all 4 shocks stiff

• On Jefferys car we had it set up like this

-2 pinion angle (measured off the bottom of the housing. Not driveshaft)
LCA's in bottom hole
Short UMI TQ arm in the highest hole on the shackle
Dragbar set to the tighter setting. Adjusted preload with driver in the car.
Stock shocks front and rear.

That was with factory springs on all corners

Car would go mid 1.4's but would unload the tires just after the hit sometimes

Added the DA AFCO's set very neutral in the rear and put the LCA's in the middle hole. Still went 1.45 but seemed more consistent.
