Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

what did you run like 11. teens and were spinning last time? IF you hooked and hit all 150 out of the hole easy, easy 10.70's. but if you spun like you did last time a little, i'd say 10.90's to 11.0's, with a little better mph.
How are you pulling timing? and are you using a progressive and/or window switch?

Mallory 685 for timing.
It spun some and walked out. The track wasn't too great since it had rained earlier in the morning that day.
I am trying to get a closeish race going with my dad.
I asked him to not use the trans brake.
It may be some what close
Any advice on tuning?
I am shooting to be at the next NO ET, as this past one was kinda crap.
Put new plugs in it in the pits, make a pass, shut the engine off as soon as you can safely, Either tow it back to the pits or change the plugs on the return road. Thats the only way your going to get data is a good plug reading.
Work on getting the car to 60' on the 100 jets too. If its not hooking on the 100 jets your not going to accomplish anything going to the larger jet.
exactly make adjustments to get the car to 60' the best it can at the given power level. you could try adding a degree of timing as well until it stops picking up then back it off again, just make sure you don't get to agressive and make one adjustment at a time and record the changes.
Alright, have you guys been to Milan on a T&T night recently?
I wonder how they are with tech, I don't have a roll bar or cage.
I think if track prep is good and I heat the tires up well this time it should hook.
test and tunes can even suck, last time i went we waited over 30 mins and it was hot as balls out. tech is picky about stupid shit, like the battery having a tie down etc.
if youre keeping OD and converter lockup, get a 9" and 4.30s
The 255 + EAA combo is a great setup... i recommend going the full length of the car like i did. Go heavy on the fasteners!
As far as sway bars go you will weight transfer better with the front bar removed, plus it weighs a decent amount. I would keep a rear bar though if not upgrade it.
