Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Got the tune richened up a little now that I got the wideband in and found out it was a little leaner than I like. I also got my new valve covers on, I'll try and get pics tomorrow in the sunlight.

I think i'm finally going to get around to tossing my projectors and HID kit onto the bird this week/weekend. I laid everything out in the basement last night to make sure i had everything and it all plugged in together correctly. The only thing i'm on the fence about is weather to have the plates that hold the projectors powdercoated or just leave them bare aluminium. What do ya'll think? I would probably just do them black if PC'd. 125184a5078f01750483acab4dca8864.jpg

As of right now i'm leaning towards leaving them bare. Saves money, less upkeep when paint/powder starts to chip, and don't have to worry about having them back by this weekend.
But i really think they'd look better black than bare finish. I wouldn't have to worry about rust, so that's a plus if i leave them alone.

These guys had a sale the day before x-mas and i snagged them up at a good discount. They only work with one style truck coil, and luckily my swap came with those. I wanted cooler looking brackets than the stock junk on nice covers and really liked these when i found them.
I drove it around a little last night, these lights are amazing! The amount of light on the road is crazy compared to the stock lights! and no light wasted shining above the cutoff, where the old ones you could see light way up on road signs and such! It's so nice having projectors again, I had a retrofit in my old GTP and going from those to the shitty sealed beam lights in the bird blew. Retrofits are so easy, I strongly suggest looking into them if you want HIDs in one of these old cars. an afternoon with some hole saw and some glue and you've got badass custom lights.
Here's the ones I had on my old car, Morimoto Mini projectors into stock housings painted black. For as cheap as you can build a set of retrofits there is really no excuse to be running HIDs in reflector housing other than just being a dick to other drivers lol 189210_10150093545056082_5442950_n.jpg

Finally ordered tires last night! I'm going back to a square setup with the 18x10.5" wheels and went with 295/35/18 fronts and 295/45/18 back to hopefully fill up the wheel wells better. I might have to do some rolling in back to fit the 28" tires but it'll look cool lol. I got a awesome deal with Discount tires Memorial Day sale ($135 in rebates) Hopefully they'll be here this weekend, I think a couple of them will be here today.
