Llol I'm not bashing you guys, I applaud any one that buils a car and agree with 99% of the stuff ur saying... only thing I'm bashing is the fact u downplay thecar like its going to go slow. They know that they are limited by the turbine, and they aren't setting overzealous goals. I think they'll be happy if it makes it down the track with some boost the 1st time out.

We all know making signification changes to a combination - like this, don't just come together and run 9's overnight. It takes many hours of datalogging/tuning/tweaking to get everything sorted out.

9's may be the ultimate goal but we don't expect it to be easy. Like Jeff said if the car comes out this year and runs as quick as its already been we'll be happy. Lots to learn still.

Yeah seriously i don't expect this thing to run 8's i was joking, i bullshit alot and you'll see that alotmore lol! but imho i think once u get your suspension dialed in which will be tricky and can hook the thing off the line it should be a little rocket of a motor! but hey feel free to give me shiiit anytime i enjoy it And that's the smart thing anyways, being conservative... I would like to think my car is going to run quick, but i set my goals/expectations mediocre and if it meets and exceeds them then i'm happy, it's all for fun anyways, i could care less on how fast my car goes, hell if i wanted to go fast i sure as hell wouldn't pick a factory block, head, intake mani, pcm, little .555 valve lift garbage lt1 ro run lol! just like having fun and meeting new people in the process. Please don't take half the things i say serious, anyone that knows me like Kyle does knows i like rattling peoples cages, no harm intended. With that being said my opti just went out it's got bolt on ls1 12 second fever... don't know if it will make it threw.

Its nice having junk, I'm not expected to go fast. On the other hand a LSX and a turbo has to at least crack 8' got a lot to live up to when you step up to the best platform on earth.

you're right its so easy a caveman can do it, hence the reasoning for this build thread. I'll toss this back at you, how many STOCK SHORTBLOCK 5.3s have you seen go 8s? now how many at 3800lbs? we aren't that good.

Think you'll be done anytime soon on the build? Lapeer opens this saturday and i'll be out there with the neighbor and his car. I planned on being done with mine already but i've been waiting 2.5 months for midwest chassis to send me my suspension stuff .... If i ever build another car i'm just going to deal with madman, i'm about to pull my hair out dealing with this company ... they make killer suspension stuff but don't communicate at all. But anyways hopefully you get her back together soon and can get it dialed in
