Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Pretty sure you are not allowed to run like that.
You have to have your windows rolled up to run. Let alone have the doors and windshield and roof on it.

I was supposed to make a patch for the RH wheel well but I decided to put that off a few days.
Instead I spent alot of time working on the car but only removed 3lbs. I spent hours untaping multiple harness's to delete the wiring for A/C, washer fluid, and emissions systems. 005.JPG 006.JPG

Looking damn good wish i had the ambition to wprk on my car.
Time is going by way to fast its gunna be summer before i know it.
Its not easy I had planned to start working on it early but I didn't start till 2pm and I called it quits early. Someone once told me "persistence always wins". It took me 6 years to finish the chevelle. I am hoping this project is ready for use this spring.
It's a trade off - carbs are hard to dial in because of fuel slosh in the bowls, EFI can have fuel slosh in the tank. Hard transitions really screw up floats!
thanks mike! stock quadrajet is a brick compared to any tbi though. id say do the tbi mods for now give it some more responsiveness and keep the 305 till you get something better.
looks like theres some more emisions stuff and such to go.
Good eye! I have yet to decide if I keeping the serpentine belt or installing a v-belt system. I don't want to waste money buying a belt and delete pulley if I use a v-belt system.
Before the debate starts, I prefer to keep the serpentine system but the alternator and A/C pulley sit high. Why is this a problem? I have plans to make a functional heat extractor hood.
I dont really have much to base my opinion on, but my opinion is v-belts suck... Why would you want one? Seems like a serp setup is a lot less friction.
Going through is exactly what im afraid of... especially for the spare tire one, i dont need any holes in my quarter panel lol
Not trying to thread hijack but I drilled through my bumper when I did my spare tire rack. Lol. It's low enough where it's underneith the bumper vs the quarter panel. So if you do it take the bumper off
You sure are losing a lot of weight Brian!!!

I want to run a heat extractor hood, with a V-belt set up I can run a more aggressive inlet just behind the radiator
