1992 Camaro- Road Racing on a budget

There goes the "budget" to this build! Doesn't Austin's car have spacers? I think you'd bet ok with the right adapters, not the "shim" style spacer

does this depend on what size spacer, or just at all?

I was going to run a 3/8" spacer on my z06 wheels, but ill probably road race / autox on the 16s anyway.

I been doing a little reading and spacers are OK according to the NHRA. I doesn't mention adapters...
"Wheel spacer permitted. Spacer to be either hub-centric or lug-centric and must fit with minimal clearance to retain concentricity. The wheel
spacer must not reduce the minimum permitted thread engagement below the limits established by fastener diameter. (See example as stated above.) No stacking of wheel spacers allowed."

any more opinions on wheels?
If use F-body 98+ brakes I can still use 16s. If I used C5 Brakes I have to use some form of 17.

I assume they fixed the need for that with the release of the 4th gens, because ive never heard of one

I'd assume that is because of the switch to rack and pinion. The power steering boxes caused the front frame to flex a bit. They also came out with braces as well.

Yeah. The wonderbar is essentially an STB, but for the bottom of the car, instead of up top.

i just welded a pipe in between the frame rails right next to the radiator area on my old 85.

not a strut brace, k memeber braces.
