You, sir, are odd. Would you like a picture of the wifi antenna I'm putting up as well?

I joke, and truth be told, I'm a bit different - or so they say.

For some reason, there is no order information on the headbolts?!?! I ordered directly from the companies website instead of ebay (couple dollars cheaper) and Tuesday their prices jumped 10 bucks more, both on their site and eBay... WTF toast?

No emails, no paypal transaction, nothing on any bank or CC statements. A little PO'd

Edit: I did find a trace of it on my BML account. I will be emailing the company with some questions.

I'm going to pull the heads off my 5.3 and see what I'm working with. Boost Addict wants to buy my 6.0 pretty bad

                    • Hell I'd even buy it as a short block if you'd work on the price good enough Libertys is getting some money here pretty soon so you better decide what you're going to do with it

                      • I got the heads off the 5.3, number 7 has much more carbon than the rest.

Just waiting on the head bolts. The company says I never ordered them. I didn't get any confirmation emails nor is the transaction listed in paypal (bought through their website) but I do have a pending transaction on my BillMeLater account....WTF? I ordered them on Friday 8/30 and on Tuesday 9/4 they raised the price $11.67, they want me to reorder them - to which I said

                        • Ricky, I'm about 99% set on selling you the 6.0 - I will do $850

That 1% is me getting that uneasy feeling about selling it and then having a 5.3 that doesn't work

                              • From what I can tell it is a LQ9 - 317 heads. Manufactured on January 30th, 2001 if I remember right. It was a pull out because of piston slap (covered under the 36k mile warranty) and the intake ports are clean, only slight carbon buildup. Pulled one of the valve covers today and it looks almost new. Doesn't have the bronze/brown discoloring like higher mile motors.
