Thunder TRak...230s over 650 lift 112lsa is what I was told? I'm new to the cam game. I have a full set of the firehawk wheels. They need refinishing. The car only came with the rear wheels so I took two with me to trailer the car back98 z28, m6, monster clutch, eibach pro kit, custom twin turbo setup, 317 heads, z06 valve springs, arp rod bolts, 512rwhp at 10lbs. cobra eater

Just picked up intake from mcalus. Thanks for the quick easy transaction! Always easy guy to get along with. I need the intake bolts now. Anyone? What are causes for a rocker arm to break?98 z28, m6, monster clutch, eibach pro kit, custom twin turbo setup, 317 heads, z06 valve springs, arp rod bolts, 512rwhp at 10lbs. cobra eater

I'm assuming it's an intake rocker just because of the amount of lift/duration and really high ramp rate lobes that are on that "TRak" cam. when you have a cam like that, it's rather violent on the valve train. Coil bind is when the valve spring compresses as far as it can go and "Binds" usually it either brakes the spring, or whatever is the weakest part of your valve train. (bent pushrod, broken rocker, broken valve spring, collapsed lifter....)
What valve springs are on the car? I would hope a set of patriot extreme golds (or something similar) for that cam and some hardened pushrods at the very least1998 Camaro SS Bullseye Turbo

"TRak" - 231/234 .640/.590 112 LSA 2400-6800 RPM Power Band. Excellent mid-range & high RPM power. 3200 stall, 3.42 gear, computer tuning required. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended. Comp 921 Valve Springs are highly recommended

I'll check what springs are on it. I thought it has stock pistons...98 z28, m6, monster clutch, eibach pro kit, custom twin turbo setup, 317 heads, z06 valve springs, arp rod bolts, 512rwhp at 10lbs. cobra eater

I've never seen anyone run over a .620 lift without fly-cutting the pistons for PTV clearance. School me if I'm missing something tho!
EDIT: Just did some reading and max lift occurs when the piston is half way between TDC and BDC.
