      I jacked mine up yesterday to start my valve spring swap but that's as far as I got b/c it's too f'in cold in my barn with no insulation and a small heater

          yeah, I have the crane cams one that does 2 springs at once. Glad I bought it for my first cam swap several years ago b/c I seem to use it almost every year lol

              • Drove it home today. Hooked the battery back up and she fired right up.

                It was definately pissy with the cold plugs in it

                • Exhaust is off and the drivers side header is ready to pull out, I was just to tired to crawl back under the car.

                  • Headers are out and the belts are off - I decided to call it quits after 45 minutes.

                    • Alternator is out - A/C compressor is lowered and out of the way.

                      With any luck tomorrow I might be able to get the mounts out and the oil pan baffle installed

                        • Mounts are done, EGR/Air tube removed from the headers & welded up. Headers are wrapped.

                          Oil pan wouldn't come out by jacking the engine - looks like I'll have to lower the k-member and jack the engine.

                            Sorry didn't read all 20 pages lol, why you pulling the pan? Jim said it was because it went on the bumper at stanton. Hope to see ya around this year at stanton, ill be out there soon hopefully to claim my slowest lt1 in michigan title

                              Not on the bumper....maybe this year.

                              Oil pressure drops hard at launch and doesn't recover as fast as I'd like.

                              I have a http://www.improvedracing.com/oil-pa...ffle-p-30.html baffle for it - so that should take care of the issue.

                              • Stock K-member? I got one to come out the other week by disconnecting the mounts and lifting the engine. Had a tubular K-member tho.
