Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
That's still terrible mileage for 2.73 gears. Your speed is off anywhere from 20 to 35 percent (your numbers don't line up, but by the speeds you gave I'd say around 35%)
Agreed 100%. Red Alert with the CC503 cam and all the work done to it, 3.42 gears, still averages 14.9MPG right now... http://www.fuelly.com/driver/meissen/camaro-2 A stock LT1 with 2.73 gears should be doing better.
I get like avg 16-17 city for me. Lapeer is very tiny. From one side of the city to the other is basically 1-2miles away. Highway I don't believe I have ever seen over 21.
My SLP lid had a rubber plug in the side i punched a hole in.
In the neck area? Ill see if mine can be sealed up any better. Other than that I can't think of any other leaks. But I'll do the starting fluid test later.
The vacuum on the opti is just for the venting isn't it?
I don't think the opti is vacuum advance like an old dizzy.
Ya know I thought about running the line into the cabin my mouth does get really bored while I drive.
But I figured it's vacuum line it probably should be hooked up.
Update: after some PCM research I learned that auto fuel table(s) are obviously extremely different from an m6 fuel tables. So basically everytime I shift the car is giving the engine enough fuel to accelerate from a dead stop in first in the auto trans.. There goes my MPGS
It has the same kind of grained finish that my Whisper Motorsports lid has, so I'm going to go out on a limb and say you have found yourself a Whisper lid there.
