  • While attempting to repair my drivers side tail light, i cracked the clear lens that has the black grid glued to it. its siliconed back on, obviously not the correct way.

So im looking for a set of 98-02 firebird/TA tail lights, dont need the filler panel .

Option B if i cant find a nice set of tail lights is to see if getting 20% 3M tint ( like the stuff pre-cut from eBay) and putting that over both will cover the crack good enough to hold off until i can afford a brand new set of tail lights. Not many LT1 tail lights have been done this way so im not sure if it will do the job. anyone have experience with that?

    • Finally got around to replacing the blown sail speakers. I went with an American Bass 6.5 midrange and could not be happier. It's got the perfect amount of thud in the seat and can go all the way up to equivalent to a sealed 10 in the trunk with the bass knob maxed out. Would recommend these to anyone.

Essentially yes, i DD the car most of the time during the summer, i also live on a dirt road so anything i can get to better hide the wider tires from kicking dust/dirt, road grime, fishflys off the rear bumper ill give it a go.

Seems to be status quo over there at 6LE.. and the side/front spitters they offer are made of ABS and charge twice as much!

                          • Another update for ya guys, After dealing with UPS losing/damaging my package of heads and intake down to Lloyd Elliott, I can finally start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Lloyd said he should be shipping my heads and intake back to me around the 14th. Fingers crossed everything should be ready for the M&G.

                              • Thanks Dan. Everything is going smoothly now *knock on wood*

As for the mudflaps, I put one on and took it off instantly, they do not look anything like 6LE shows on the site..

And for whatever reason I still have them so if anyone wants them you can have them.
