Got some more odds and ends taken care of. Pretty much ready to fill with fluids and bleed the necessary things.

And I seem to have a spare part... Anyone know where this thing goes by chance?

Also, not sure where this plugs in to. I didn't label it on the old harness like every other wire, so I'm lost...

I'll have to stop by sometime. That wire looks very familiar to me, but i cant for the life of me remember where it went. Seems like it attached somewhere on the back of the intake manifold?-Joel

The bracket bolts to the rear of the intake manifold to hold the plug wire retainer clips.
The wire might be for the blower motor?

Ehh close (I know I keep saying that). Painted the air cleaner last night
To do list:
1. Get some washers for the valve cover bolts and bolt valve covers on
2. Paint fan shroud and install
3. Fill with oil, water and trans fluid
4. Bleed brakes and power steering
5. Turn key and pray
6. Put hood and hood insulation on
Hoping to do all this Sunday morning and cruise woodward Sunday before the sun goes down!2000 Trans Am l 1967 Firebird

You were right on the blower motor! the connector was hidden under the fender. Still not sure on the bracket thingy, but I don't think it's crucial right now. I'm gonna chalk it up as weight reductionOriginally posted by hoogiesngrinderz View PostThe bracket bolts to the rear of the intake manifold to hold the plug wire retainer clips.

It looks like a plug wire holder/bracket. It should mount using the rear two intake manifold bolts, should be a bracket for each side.Originally posted by Lucky SOB View PostYou were right on the blower motor! the connector was hidden under the fender. -I would suggest using a break in oil for first 500 miles with an additive or a high zinc oil
-be prepared for the heater hose connetions to leak

Already have the 2 bracket guides bolted in... Not sure what this thing is forOriginally posted by hoogiesngrinderz View PostIt looks like a plug wire holder/bracket. It should mount using the rear two intake manifold bolts, should be a bracket for each side.
Can I prime it by turning it over without the throttle linkage hooked up or how do I do this?Originally posted by bri2203 View Post-It would be smart to prime the engine before starting it up

I did pick up a bottle of zinc additive for the oil so I hope that suffices.
Should I expect the hoses to break in after they see a few heat cycles and water?2000 Trans Am l 1967 Firebird
