there were two rooms that werent serving a purpose as seperate so we tore down that wall. the bathroom wall is moving outward deck being built, theres a leanto on the garage that needs to be fixed new hardwood coming in tomorrow they got it for dirtcheap and it has good bones. my dads a hanfyman and ive picked up tons from him so its really simple for us haha

AC delete is almost done, I discovered that I will need a new blower motor and fan wheel (from a non-AC car) to get the delete box to fit correctly. Just have to finish pulling the dash so I can replace the heater core (yes I think I am hooking the heat back up after the former owner bypassed it).

Pulled the interior to do some cleaning and sound proofing as well. The carpet needs a good steam clean and the seats need some attention as well. Also using the time to upgrade the speakers from FACTORY delco to something better.

Next is to pull the exhaust back off and fix the leaks and get some proper headers gasket and bolts, as well as giving the car a full tune up and deleting some more unnecessary accessories from the car. After the car is running the way it should with the engine thats in it, I will begin the body work. Plans included removing the stripes from the hood and rear decklid and sanding the car down. Have two dents on the back of the car to give some attention and get the car ready for someone to paint it.

Going to be a fun winter project as long as I can keep these other car issues from stopping me!

You can actually make a spacer for the blower motor if you want to use that motor/fan. It takes like a 1/2 thick spacer.

Details? Do you mean a spacer for the AC delete box? The blower motor and fan wheel are actually a 1/4 inch to deep (if that makes sense) When I looked up the part numbers the non ac cars blower motor/fan wheel are a 1/4 smaller. I have a picture I will see if I can post off my cell phone.

Yes! I love the white with the red anniversary stripes. I have the new stripes already made and sitting in my house. I already had the dimensions and CAD file from when I painted my old car. I have a connection to have anything made in automotive stickers that I need. I am just going to be looking for a painter soon enough or playing with the idea of doing it myself.

Its going to be going thats for sure. Suspension brakes and wheels are not high on the list at this moment. I will want SFC's as my old car had them and I can notice a huge difference. I also would like to lower it a tad, maybe not as much as my old car (it scraped everywhere it was so low). As for brakes probably just upgrade the front to better rotors and hawks pads, etc. As for wheels I am undecided, the stock wheels I have are pretty mint and really shine up well. If I get rid of those I think it will be for Chrome Irocs unless I find a good deal on something else.

Priorities right now are getting this engine running the way it should and then starting the body work. Might not be painted by next season (as I have some things to plan for) but it'll get there!

I will be sanding and prepping it myself for sure. If I take it somewhere they may do additional prep but I will have the stripes off, clear sanded off and body work done before taking it anywhere. I may research painting it myself, I know BigJon is planning on painting his own as well.

Honestly, if you feel your up to painting, you should try it. 80% of the work is in the prep and since you are already doing that much, you should do the whole thing. Watch some of the Powerblock shows and the like to get a feel for the technique, and have fun.
