agreed raise the limiter about 500 rpm that car was still making power. I'm not too surprised by the intake manifold gains though, going from a LS1 intake with that cam anything would make a ton more power.Doing less with more

Well since I live in Texas now Phil was not an option (unless he wanted to fly down on my dime), I found an excellent, very well respected, tuner down here named Sam Miller.Originally posted by sman View PostA lot of us know and use Phil(hes worked on my car more way more than he cares to, im sure of that, lol), he knows EXACTLY what hes doing. But id still have him bring it up a few

did you ever swap the intake or change the gears? The mph still seems low to me it should be a solid 11 second car with traction.Doing less with more

BBK SSI intake, stock 3.23 gear. Launching at 2500 RPM. The brakes need to be flushed with some upgraded pads so I can launch it harder.Originally posted by DETROITMUSCLE View Postdid you ever swap the intake or change the gears? Heavier than stock that's for damn sure. I was an idiot and decided not to get the chrome moly suspension parts (subframe connectors, PHB, LCA, TA)Originally posted by c0ncEpT View PostWhats that thing weight?

didn't it trap the same with the LS1 intake on it? I'm not a huge fan of those intakes and I'm sure thats why you got it because nobody else is either and it was prob cheap. How about the intake tract what do you have there just a lid? If you don't already I'd look into making a cheap under sucking ram air setup like the sux2bu (sp) those usually net a mph at least gain and you can make them yourself for cheap on a camaro. Can you post a pic of the slip?Doing less with more

I've trapped up to 113 with this intake, gained 17 RWHP with it.Originally posted by DETROITMUSCLE View Postdidn't it trap the same with the LS1 intake on it? A gear swap would certainly help a LOT! nice efforts though! maybe I missed it, but does the car have stock heads? or something different?1998 Camaro SS Bullseye Turbo

Gear would certainly help, but I'm not putting money into the 10 bolt, saving for a 9" and just doing it right the first time. Stock 98 heads, working on finding a nice set of used 243's to port, polish, and resurface for higher compression.Originally posted by SS4Matt View PostA gear swap would certainly help a LOT! nice efforts though! maybe I missed it, but does the car have stock heads? or something different?
