Looking great. I love the gauges and the transmission overlay as well. The blue stitching on the shifter cover is also great looking.

Well, time has come to concentrate on the interior work.

But not before getting side-tracked with the golf cart repair. It seems that the neighbor kid wanted to see if it would bounce off a tree without sustaining damage.
Needless to say, he cracked up the front end and destroyed one of the head lights. So, seeing that a repair needs to be made, why not get with the current times. We are filling in the headlight openings and puttting in some high powered LED's. Also, I was thinking about changing the color on the cart to Synergy Green.

Pulled out the seats and the center console and found "treasure", sort of. I found $45.67 in change, some misc. jewelry and about 40 cigarette butts!
It was a mess and needed some serious shop vac time. I'm not quite sure how the shifter even moved!

Carpet removed

I bought 36 sq/ft of DynaMat which is not nearly enough to do the entire interior.
Here I just layed it in to see what more I may need. Just order more!

The center console ashtray needed some "gapping" work.

Also, on a Firebird, the radio bezel has a cut line in it that was screaming for a polished aluminum section.

Have you guys ever used this stuff - "Restore Black" I am wondering how it lasts or is it just like a shoe polish? I had used it on the w/s cowl and tried it here and really "freshens" up the panel.

Looks like your in the home stretch.
Thanks guys! I'm hoping (which is not a strategy) on getting the body sanded and rubbed, interior mods complete and get my hood back from the painter by the first of May so I can get this thing dyno tuned and on the road, finally!
Wheres the battery and fuses boxes?
Battery is located in the spare tire well and the fuse blocks are stuffed in front of LF wheel liner but accessible by removing closeout.
