I need and Jake to come give me a hand removing the hatch, Im sure its not light.

Will also be looking to pick up front fenders and a hood in the next month. Fenders must be clean, which means rust free and dent free please.

Hey greg..ou cant just unplug your knock sensors..Im suggesting running without the knock sensors. By plugging in 3.5 kohm grounded resistors to the knock sensor connectors you are fooling the ECM into thinking a knock sensor is in place. I'm not sure on your engine but I think simply unplugging the knock sensors causes the timing to retard by 10*. Using the resistors avoids that.

A buddy of mine is having KR issues with his bonneville and one of my other buddies(major gearhead) said that to him..And i figure itsll work out about the same for you

the big problem with that is if you buy bad fuel or just plain desided to go cheap for a weak, you stand a good chance at hurting your motor. the knock sensor hears what is commonly called spark nock when you have a fuel or heat, issue and retards your ignition. if you where to bypass the nock sensor it would stay advanced. and never retard. it can be very risky. spark nock or detonation has been known to put holes in pistons or burn up ring lands.
