              • Sorry, lost consciousness for a minute...

                Kooks 2"....and yes I caved on the 9". MWC...pretty much went middle of the road (1" narrowed p/side, Tru-Trac, Strange case, 3.50 gear, 31spline, 4channel, long torque arm, assembled, etc). Will be more than enough for my application. 4-6wk build, I can add anything I need to it over the next couple weeks. Did not do a back-brace or powder coat. Brace was an argument for weekend drag racing (which I wont - they concurred) and I was thinking of another color other than black...wheel color perhaps? Dunno...can always change and have them go black ( ) before it ships.

                Apple to apple comparison was an additional $275 for the 9" compared to the 60...figured it was worth it for the weight save and water cooler discussions.

                  im sorry im not going back to read lol what trans do you have in your car, kinda a shorter gear ratio for the 9 aint it?

                    M6 - unless someone comes up with a manual 10 speed!! Given the pony estimates, I anticipate traction is already going to be an issue in the first 6 with a 3.42. Must keep thinking street, street, street!



                    Lol, still might switch to 3.70 anyway....just because.

                      im going with a 3.25 rear gear in my 9 inch with the 28's tho it will be more like a 3.15

                      • that engine will make the first 3 gears useless with 2.73s lol might as well go 4.10s like you know you want to. Only way its going to hook on the street is with a heated slick or drag radial.
