Well Phil's done tuning. Going to pick it up in ~20mins when my dad gets done cutting firewood. Wire to the solenoid in the cutout got pulled out. Hopefully I can fix it but it doesn't seem too hard.

Well it feels like an entirely different car. For once now I actually have trouble getting traction on dry pavement when I'm already rolling. Before I don't think it would've broken the tires loose without using the clutch but now it's absolutely no problem. And what's great about all this-with over 400hp to the wheels (conservatively estimating) I'm still getting ~30mpg on the highway doing 80 @1800rpm in 6th gear. I'll post pics and stories tomorrow if I get a chance. I've got class at 8am, time to sleep finally. What a spring break

Think these are the only new ones, need to take more.
Camaro I saw at Lowe's
Got inventive putting the new sprocket on.
El Toro
LS2 sprocket on the right.
That's it for now. Project did go pretty fast didn't it? Guess that's the result of only having one free week all year to do it and working on it 10-12hrs/day.

my question is how do you like it? Have you beaten on the car yet and seen what it has or what? How does the drivability seem and what don't you like about it thus far?Originally posted by Fbomb View PostWell hey guys if you have any questions you can ask them here. Hope to get more pics/video tonight. How much I get really depends on homework and other stuff.Doing less with more

Absolutely love it, it's like it has three times the balls it did before. I actually have trouble getting traction when I'm already rolling in the lower gears. Driveability is very good aside from some cam surge which Mike said is because the plugs load up some when I go on and then off the throttle like when I'm parking it. Usually I let it idle for a little while before shutting it down to try and clear up anything. Only things I don't like are how loud it still is with the cutout closed and how low my exhaust hangs, but I'll be fixing the lowness in a few weeks when I go home. As for the loudness of the catback, think glasspacks as tailpipes coming off the hooker would help it?

glasspacks will sound like shit if you ask me, if you want it any quieter your gonna have to get cats or a stock catback. H/C cars aren't too quiet. I'm surprised you have cam surge with that bumpstick they last time I rode in Steve's goat with that cam I didn't notice any but then again we were pretty much WOT the whole time
