the rocker putting pressure on the spring is fine, depending on where the crank is positioned a few cylinders will be like that and a few won't. I would NOT run the stock pushrods for tuning, WOT is required several times while tuning and that would result in disaster.

I can see the spring move a bit, which means the valve is opening a bit right? I dunno, hope the new gaskets are slightly taller than old compressed ones. Like I said though I'll check compression tomorrow and listen for leaks through the intake valve.

I'm sure if those were the recommended pushrods that you guys will be just fine, an easy way to check is to mark the tip of the valve with a sharpie and then assemble the intake and exhaust for one cylinder. Turn the motor over by hand and few times and disassemble again. The wear pattern the rocker makes should be centered over the valve tip if its way off thats usually a good indicator that the pushrod size is off. A length checking tool is the best way to do it though.

So right now I'm in the process of getting the new heads on. I did the drill mod this morning and have to wait until my dad gets home from work to help me bleed it, unless I can find someone else to step on the pedal for me. Clutch pedal has pretty much no pressure right now, which is normal after doing the mod right? And I can't start it until after the clutch is bled because I can't reach the bleeder screw with the longtubes in there. Think I'm going to shoot the engine bay down low with some hi-temp clear while everything's still out of the way.

Having problems bleeding my clutch hydraulics after doing the drill mod. Pedal will firm up a few inches from the floor but not much else. Any suggestions? Maybe I need to bleed it a lot more?

Figured out the problem-it was bleeding, there was a TON of air in it. I've been using a vacuum pump through the reservoir and working the pedal to work the air up, think I need to open the bleeder screw though because I can't seem to get the last inch of the pedal.

I also got the heads on yesterday. After bleeding out the rest of the clutch everything *should* go smoothly.

Intake, waterpump, headers, valvecovers, and coils are on. About to put the radiator back into it then finish up the exhaust. Then it'll be ready to start.

Everything in the engine bay is all back together, except for the ac compressor/condensor because I left those out, and yes, you CAN leave them out and have no problems with the radiator fitting in there except there are two gaps on the sides by the front of the radiator. All I have left to do is the SFC's, oil, and coolant and she'll be ready to start. After installing the cutout I realized that I now only have 1.5-2" of ground clearance...this will be interesting. I'll try and turn it a little to get some more room.

alright well I had 37 pictures to post but my internet at home isn't letting me upload all of them, but here's what I got for now:

Dual springs are a PITA to get on.

                              One head on

Clearcoated shocktowers. This one was later ruined by some brake fluid. Honestly I don't really know how but it was a result of cleaning the bottom of the car with brake cleaner.

                              Looks a lot better.

                              Both heads on.

Had to do a pretty weird setup with the coils on truck brackets.

Well we started it up tonight and it ran fine, idled on its own and all. Sounds mean. I have to pull the intake out a little and seal the coolant crossover tubes tonight though because I forgot the gaskets. Woops.

Looks sweet man! Good luck with that poly mount.. I put one on my car and it was off 45 minutes later.. Couldn't go above 40 miles an hour, vibrated like a *****... Some people have no issues, some(like me) do.. Keep your stocker just in case..
