springs for $400 are fine, thats what you need, suck it up and pay. You'll probably need to replace them every 5K anyways at that lift

Yea, I was ready for that. Im not really arguing the $400.. Im wondering if there are better springs, that would last longer...Originally posted by DETROITMUSCLE View Postsprings for $400 are fine, thats what you need, suck it up and pay. not that I am aware of, with a big lift cam like that, heck mine is .625 lift and I will probably change my spring every 6-7K or so. Its not worth it to take the chance and have one break I've been there done that. t sucks but you gotta pay to play.Originally posted by BAMF TA View PostYea, I was ready for that. Tons of people on here play...
...on xbox360...
Seriously though, please don't drive that car through the winter. I know you want to enjoy it, and I really respect that, but trust me - coming from someone who used to drive their car year round ... the rust that your car will get from driving it in the winter and being out in the winter with other drivers who can't handle anything but dry pavement. I drove my v6 through the winter from 2004 to 2008. I was involved in an accident that was entirely not my fault and the car was totalled because of it. Likewise, in the years that it was driven in the snow and salt, I have a ton of rust issues with my car now on the underbody. Trust me, it's not worth it for how much horsepower you're going to be putting out to jeopardize the chassis with exposing it to salt on a regular basis.

Yea, I used to play on 360, but I decided to grow up(j/k, but after 3 xboxes. Ive had enough)Originally posted by meissen View PostTons of people on here play...

and the graphics are much better, I like how much better I can adjust for my sound system.
I will have taken every step to protect it from the weather, and if thats not enough, no big deal... Ill get over it. and as far as a crash, itll be insured for enough that Ill be able to build a new one. I mean, if I fall into enough money to get something fun for the winter(Audi, WRX, 911 Turbo, tacoma, jeep) then yea, Ill park the t.a, but I wont be driving a "beater" as long as I have another car to drive.Originally posted by meissen View PostSeriously though, please don't drive that car through the winter.
